Contract for wedding hair services
PRICING:
Reservation fee of $100 is required to hold the date of wedding. This is not a deposit.
Upon receiving reservation fee, your date will be held to ensure availability. This fee is non refundable. We strive to provide the best service possible. With that, we must have dates officially set months in advance. We appreciate your understanding in this matter.
Payments for services are due on wedding day. We will confirm with you a total no later than a week before your wedding. This will allow any last minute changes that need to be made. A proper amount of time must be available. We will do our best if time allows servicing any additional attendants. Below are the charges for on-location wedding hair services.
Day of wedding prices:
Bride - $85.00
Maids/Matrons - $65.00
Juniors - $45.00 (10 yrs and under)
Attendants - $65.00
On location fee - $75.00
Parking (if applicable) $20.00
Designs by Deyne accept checks or cash. A credit card may be used ONLY if paid in advance. There is a 5% processing fee associated with credit card payments. Gratuity is always appreciated. 10-20% is customary.
If your party requires additional stylists, please note that an additional $100 is needed to reserve their time. This may be necessary to complete a large wedding party, or for a very early ceremony.
To avoid delay or confusion, one check or one cash payment should be given on day of wedding. If the attendants are paying for themselves, please have one person in charge of the payment. A confirmation email will be sent to you or your wedding planner a week before wedding. This will avoid any confusion. Thank you in advance!
- There is a $400 minimum for on location small weddings. If you have just one attendant, the price would be $400. The time and scheduling for an on location wedding can not be done without this minimum being met. In Studio is an option if just bridal hair is needed. A full service studio is the perfect place for one or two attendants.
Before Wedding:
It is required that a practice or trial be made before the wedding day. This time is very important to make sure the look you want is determined. There are many ways to add interest to your hair. When a practice is booked, Designs by Deyne will do as many small changes as we can in the hour and a half for practice. This is your big day, and it is our goal to make that look tailored just for you! Please note: a second practice may be needed if the hair is something you decide to change. There is a charge for each practice.
A 20% discount is offered for brides to be on all services offered at DbD Studio. Color, haircuts and waxing are included in that special offer. This also applies for your attendants.
Wedding Attendants:
Please let us know if there are any restrictions or ideas that you would prefer for your attendants before wedding day. If you have a attendant that may be apprehensive or unsure prior to your wedding, please offer them the opportunity to come in for a practice as well. A 15 minute consultation may clear up any questions of concerns also. This will keep us all on time, and avoid any full re-dos of their hair and keep the schedule running smoothly. Designs by Deyne have been doing wedding hairstyling for over 15 years with much success, and can do anything that is asked. Communication can be difficult at times when the wedding day arrives. Photos can be a great help to communicate what is wanted. Please feel free to have attendants show those to us. We strive to make this a wonderful and fun experience for you and your wedding party!
Timing:
Once ceremony and photography arrival is determined, please inform us. We ask for 45 minutes per attendant, and one hour for the bride. Depending on how many attendants will give us the start and finish time. There are styles that may only take 20-30 minutes. Please let us know in the questionnaire the length of the attendant’s hair. One hairstyle is given to each attendant. Only if time allows can we completely re-do the hair. A fee is associated with these full changes. Small changes are never a problem. We try to get the details communicated prior to service to prevent from running behind. We appreciate your understanding in this matter.
Attendants:
Hair must be clean and dry. If attendant or bride is only looking for a blow out, please note that in the questionnaire. A full blow out can take up to 45 minutes. We ask if the hair is going to be styled only (curled, flat iron or up-do) that the hair must be dried fully prior to DbD arriving. Please make sure attendants are timely. This is a fun and joyous event, and encourage your party to stick together to make it a smooth day free of stress. Getting ready for your wedding should be fun!! We our always excited and honored to be a part of your big day!
Touch-ups after ceremony/returning:
This service is for staying or returning to provide changes to hair before reception, or to travel with photographer for on site hair touch ups. There is a $100 return to venue fee. If you request us to stay in the event entirety, the charge is $50 per hour. This cost is to cover travel back and forth and setting up in a different location. Re-sprays, small pinning and curling touch ups are expected when an event is hours between ceremony and photos. This service is also a great way to completely change your look from ceremony to reception. Many brides are doing this, and it would be our pleasure to provide for you. If there are FULL hairstyle changes (i.e.: putting it up or taking hair down) the charge per style is $80 for bride and $60 for attendants.
